The proprietary Portable Document Format (PDF) provides full-featured, cross-platform representation of paged documents. PDF files can be viewed and printed with the free  Adobe Reader.

PDF files can be obtained for any text selection and a wide range of formats via an ODT format file produced by the "ODT" button on the bottom right of the Book page. The resulting ODT file can be converted to PDF via the LibreOffice.org Writer File menu "Export to PDF" item. LibreOffice.org Writer is available for free on the web. Both ODT and PDF documents lack Documentary Hypothesis markings, however.

PDF files are available in fixed formats for selected text ranges:

PDF files for entire biblical books can be obtained by clicking on the book name on the Home page. The middle row of the resulting page offers a table of available formats. Click on the "PDF" item to view the entire book in PDF format. The files are stored in the PDFFiles subdirectory.

Zipped archives of all Tanach books in PDF with full content, Tanach.pdf.zip, are also available in the PDFFiles subdirectory. These files are obtained from the book ODT files via LibreOffice Writer 7.5 on a macOS Ventura operating system. See the "Zipped archives of Tanach books" section of the Technical page.
